Yeah for the new year! It's 2012. I still remember 1999 and the scary thought of it becoming 2000 if the world didn't end first! Anyways, we safely made it into 2012 and I'm excited about the year ahead. We hope to move to a house with more space, Rylie Kate will turn 1 and Baleigh will turn 3! (Although she has been saying I'm not 2.5, I'm 2! And I don't want to be "free" I want to be 2!) So, we'll see if she might be 2 and holding. Anyways, being the beginning of January and people asking the same question of everyone...over and over...(what is your new year's resolution?)....I've decided on 2. Please know that my #1 criteria was attainability (if that's a word!). I chose 2 things that I want to make a part of my year ahead....#1 to really help others...meaning help when I can or find help when I can not. If I know a person is in need I want to help them find the help they need or help them myself if I'm able. (Sounds simple, but sometimes we can lose that focus if we don't start making it a habit). #2 is to organize and de-clutter my home! (Or home-to-be I hope). I want my house to be a place that I love coming home to and that I can share with others at a moments notice. So, there they are! My goals for 2012. I have other little things and goals for our family and my 2 girls....such as potty training and manners, but those are more of a given. Wish me luck and I'll keep working to attain these goals.
